The Vet Up! programs at Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine (PVM) provide opportunities and support for underrepresented students who are interested in veterinary medicine, including racial and ethnic minorities, low-income, first-generation college, and rural students. A representative will be available to share information about program eligibility, details, and application process for two components of the program: Vet Up! Champions and Vet Up! College. Vet Up! Champions is a career exploration program for high school upperclassmen, undergraduate underclassmen, and adult learners. Vet Up! College is a 6-week residential program at Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine for rising undergrad juniors & seniors in Summer 2022 with a preview of vet school, experiences and support to become competitive vet school applicants, a 2-week local clinical placement, and access to an early admission program. Programs are cost-free and most, if not all, program expenses such as travel are offset with stipends.
